The Fire 7 kids edition has the same great features as the adult version but cost $99.99. The extra cost includes 1 year of Amazon FreeTime Unlimited provides access to more than twenty-thousand games, apps, videos, books and educational content from Disney, PBS kids, Nickelodeon, and more. You can even create screen time limits for your children, filter-out bad content with easy-to-use parental controls.

Fire HD 8

Bigger is sometimes better, that’s why Amazon designed the Fire HD 8, which sports an 8 inch touchscreen and 1280 x 800 (189 ppi) resolution. The price is still relatively cheap from $79.99 for adult models to $129.99 for kids edition. It comes Wi-Fi ready and stores up to 32, 64 or 256 GB. If you need more data storage you can purchase unlimited cloud storage from Amazon. Some features include mono speaker, built-in mic, Alexa hands free, quad core 1.3 GH with 1.5 GB of RAM. Amazon promises up to 10 hours of usage on a single charge.

Fire HD 10

If you need the full monty then 10 inches is sure to fill you up…but the price might hurt. Plan to spend anywhere between $149.99 to $199.99 for the 2020 Fire 10. The good news: You get 10.1 inch 1080p full HD with 1920 x 1200 (224 ppi) resolution and your option of 32 or 64 GB of storage—expandable by up to 256 gigabyte. Special features include Dolby Atmos, dual stereo speakers and built-in microphone. This year’s Fire 10 comes in 7 colors to choose from; black, pink, blue, yellow, twilight, plum and sage.

In my opinion the Fire HD 10 is the most well-rounded Amazon tablet for 2020. Actually, in terms of price, size and quality, it’s probably the best tablet compared to any brand. It has the largest screen and the most pixels (1080p) than its smaller Fire rivals, making it the best and most affordable tablet on the market for watching videos and web-surfing.
